With the November general election only weeks away, the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts are hosting three state-wide judicial forums.
The first of the trio of events – a Supreme Court judicial candidate forum – will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 14 at the Widener Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg.
The second event – an intermediate appellate court candidate forum, is slated for noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15. That event will also be held at the Widener Commonwealth School in Harrisburg.
Our readers in the Pittsburgh area may want to save the date for the third event – another Supreme Court candidate forum that will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Homewood Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh.
It should be noted that the free event in Pittsburgh begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and concludes at 9 p.m. Childcare is provided, organizers said.
